Before submitting an order we recommend that you read and understand our policies. When you submit an order you are entering into a contract with Able Engineering (Midlands) Ltd and you may be bound by the terms described herein. All prices quoted on our online shop exclude UK VAT where appropriate. We make every effort to keep the prices up to date but we reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. It may be that prices are incorrectly quoted or changed due to external circumstances. We have no statutory obligation to sell goods at the price quoted if that price is incorrect. If an item is out of stock or no longer available we do not have to supply this and a full refund will be given.
Orders are always shipped at the first opportunity. If an item is not in stock it may be necessary to order that item from one of our suppliers before it can be dispatched. In which case delivery can be delayed. If we are unable to supply items you have ordered due to them being out of stock we will contact you to inform of the delay, or to see if an alternative item would be suitable.
We aim to despatch all online orders placed before 2:00pm on the same working day. In some cases this may not be possible due to nil-stocks. Orders placed at a weekend will usually be despatched on the next working day. You should typically expect delivery within 3 working days. At seasonal and busier times this may be up to 5 working days.
Islands, UK Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and certain postcode areas may be subject to a higher shipping charge. Please contact us before placing an order and we will get you the best shipping rate for your area.
You may return goods unused for a period of 30 days after delivery. Circumstances will dictate whether a full refund or an exchange is appropriate. Goods that have been used cannot be returned unless a warranty claim will be entered into. All returned goods are subject to a 15% re stocking charge.
All goods have a minimum 1 year manufacturer’s warranty (unless otherwise clearly indicated). Warranty claims for faulty goods will be dealt with through us but the manufacturer will make an assessment and decide on the proper course of action.
All goods should be returned packed to the same standard as when received, to avoid damage in transit.
We accept payment by all major credit and debit cards as well as PayPal. UK bankers drafts are accepted and payments may also be made via BACS with prior agreement.
Most on-line credit card transactions are processed through our Merchant Service Provider. At Able Engineering (Midlands) Ltd we do not collect or have access to your credit card details. All information is collected off-site through the Merchant Service Provider website. We reserve the right to refuse acceptance of payment details if we think they are being used fraudulently.
We also use PayPal for some online payments.
All card payments are processed through Worldpay using a secure payment site.
We make every effort to ensure that the product images we use are accurate and up to date. All product images are either owned by Able Engineering (Midlands) Ltd or are used with the permission of the originator and remain the copyright of the originator. Unauthorised use of images owned by Able Engineering (Midlands) Ltd will be taken very seriously.

We take the satisfaction of our customers very seriously. If you feel you have received substandard information or services from us we would like to hear about it so that we can prevent the same thing from happening again.
